Review: Return to Exile (Blog Tour)

Title Return to Exile (The Hunter Chronicles 1)
By E.J. Patten
Genre MG Supernatural Adventure
Pages 513
Recommended by Me

First sentence Phineas T. Pimiscule was not what you'd call an "attractive" man.

Synopsis
Sky and his uncle Phineas have always been close. His uncle has taught him all about puzzles and traps and monsters that roam the earth. Sky thought it was all a game; a distraction from the pain of moving from town to town. But on the eve of his twelfth birthday, with his uncle suddenly missing, he's about to learn the truth, including the truth about the mark on his hand.

What it has going for it
The biggest reason I wanted to read this book, I'll be honest, is that the author is local, and after meeting him at several different events I found him highly amusing. I figured if he was that amusing his book would be, and hopefully adventurous too. I mean, a book about a boy monster hunter who fights monsters with weapons made out of trash. Sounds exciting right? I was not disappointed. This one had me giggling from page one; from the first paragraph, even. It's incredibly witty amidst the mystery and action and I thoroughly enjoyed that. There's nothing like reading through an action scene, all tense and nervous, only to burst out laughing at some character's remark. Love it. I also was awed at the similes and metaphors. Sure, there might have been a few too many but every single one had me thinking how very clever the author was! I can't think up a good simile to save my life! I was impressed. And one last thing that I loved. John Rocco, the artist behind the covers of the Percy Jackson series, did the cover art for this one as well. There were awesome pictures to go with each chapter that were so fun to look at and added a fun touch to the whole book.

What's lacking
This is, I believe, marketed as a MG book and I'm not a HUGE fan of MG books. I like them and appreciate them but there is a simpleness to them that always grates on my nerves. I don't mean a lack of vocabulary or even a lack of "grown up" situations. I mean the telling, the repetition, the characters inner dialogue. It's all for good reason. Kids can sometimes need things spelled out for them, that's fine, it's just something that starts to bother you as you get older. Or maybe that's just me. *shrugs* I also was bothered by the length. Five hundred pages is an awfully long book for a kid to read...heck, most adults would consider that too long.  Still, I've heard several people say their kids loved this one and I can easily see it becoming the next Fablehaven or Percy Jackson. It definitely has kid appeal.

Yea or Nay?
For the wittiness and adventure alone I'd say yes.

And I just had to add the authors bio from the back flap because it made me giggle too.

Sunday Salon

Welcome to the new Sunday Salon. A weekly update post about my boring life. ;)

Weather Small Talk: Very nice week! We did have one windy rainy storm but it was late at night and by morning it was lovely again. It has gotten colder after the storm, though. Sigh!

Music Discoveries: Michael Buble is a hit or miss for me but this soft melody, though not well known, is so beautiful and sad. End of May

On The Idiot Box: I LOVED the episode of House this week. The inconceivable sight of Chase kissing Park. Hee hee. Vampire Diaries had a bit of a heartbreaking incident that Cait and I discussed via Twitter, it was fun...er...sad, it was sad. ;)

Weekly Reads: Ugh, can we not even talk about this, this week? I'm stuck on Precious Bane and Return to Exile. Neither is bad but I just can't get myself to read.

Crazy Kitty: It's time to purchase a running water dish. Stupid kitty won't drink standing water and it's driving me crazy!

This Week: Hmmm, I had a nail party with my sister on Thursday and then we went out for Pizza and Tiramisu. Yum! I went swimming with another sister and her kids. Oh, and I went running one day and got crapped on my a bird. I think the exercise gods are against me losing more weight. :(

Movie of the Week: Lockout. It was OK, the truth is, I saw it because Guy Pearce was in it. Sigh!

Food Talk: I've been eating a lot of canned chili lately because it's easy. However canned chili can be a little scary so I only eat Dennison's. You should try it. Much better than Nalley Chili which often has stuff in it that makes me cringe.

Soccer Sightings: So, when I went out to dinner with my sister I spotted this guy that looked EXACTLY like one of my soccer players. The Vampire, to be exact. She was brave enough to ask him if she could take his picture. So check him and his adorable son out.

Plans For The Week: I'm going to finish my books! I want to move on to something else and I'm just going to have to commit.

A Call To Arms!

After an hour an a half of gut wrenching and hand clinging while watching my game yesterday, it went into overtime. No! Then it went to penalties! Double no!

(for those of you who don't know the rules of soccer, don't worry. Just know that one never walks away from a game deciding penalty shoot out without the startings of an ulcer and lots of tears, good or bad.

Unfortunately "my boys" lost. They're out of The Champions League. :( It's bad enough that they lost but what makes it a million times worse is the dang German who scored the winning goal.

Let me introduce you to Schweinsteiger, pronounced, sh vyn -sh ty ger.

Isn't that arrogant face just asking for my fist?! Ugh! I can't even begin to explain my dislike for this man. He's arrogant as all get out and not even a good enough player OR good looking to make up for it! Disgraceful! Pale, pastey, freak!

I swear if this guy ever is unfortunate enough to come face to face with me, he's going to end up with a bloody nose and a broken foot! Maim Schweinsteiger, has become my motto. But I wan't to take it a step further.  I dislike the guy so much I've started using his name as a curse word, and that's where you come in. I'm hoping to make it spread as one nasty cuss. Come on, just say it. Try shaking your fist air the air and growling the word. Nice, huh? So join me and spread this word as a curse!

Suggestions: Son of a Schweinsteiger! You little Schweinsteiger! Mother Schweinsteiger! ;)

Ramble Much?

My little brain is all over the place lately and I'm afraid my blogging slump is still going on and on. :( Anywho, I thought I'd just ramble for a bit.

First off, "my boys" played Barcelona, their biggest rivals, on Saturday and won!!! My throat was actually sore from all the screaming that happened. And, yeah, everyone thought Ronaldo was man of the match but my vote goes to Arbeloa, yes, the vampire. ;)

They're playing an important game today as well against a dang German team. Don't even get me started on my hate for German soccer teams. You'll get plenty of that this summer during the Euro Cup. ;)

Secondly, I'm pondering some post ideas and changes and wondering if anyone actually reads or cares about my Sunday Salon posts? I don't mind writing them up but I feel like for you, the reader, they're horribly boring and I'm thinking about dumping them all together. Anyone care?

Thirdly, I'm about two inches from going to the book store and spending a ridiculous amount of money on books I want! I'm trying to be better at budgeting my money since I don't have a job at the moment and am starting to feel like I'll NEVER get one. :( Anywho, I could use some sage advice about now or I'm going to  lose it!

And forthly, awhile ago I whined about blogs I read and comment on all the time but who never return the favor. And it  occurs to me I may be inadvertently doing this myself. do any of you lovely bloggers visit me all the time and never hear a peep from me on your blog? I'd feel awful if this is so. Let me know and I'll rectify the situation. We're all friends here. :)

Thanks for listening to my rambling. Bear with my while I sludge through this slump. Happy reading!

Review: The Demon's Lexicon

Title The Demon's Lexicon (The Demon's Lexicon 1)
By Sarah Rees Brennan
Genre YA Urban Fantasy
Pages 322
Recommended by Melissa and Cait

First sentence The pipe under the sink was leaking again.

Synopsis
Nick and Alan have been on the run their whole life from magicians and demons. The magicians want their mother and a charm she possesses. When a brother and sister come to them for help removing a demon mark, the brothers are swept into a race for their lives and Nick is about to find out more than he bargained for.

For those of you who don't know, I wrote a post a few days ago asking for guesses on what people thought I'd like and what I'd hate about this book. Yeah, I'm bored of the same boring reviews. Anywho here's what people said:

 fakesteph

This is what I liked, that I hope you will like too: Nick and Alan's complicated relationship, all the violent talk that makes me go giggly in a good way. Love those brothers.

K, Steph, I started out not knowing what I thought about these brothers. I mean, Alan was portrayed through Nicks eyes and Nick seems to love him but...well...it's complicated. ;) I was mad at Alan most of the time because I was sympathizing with Nick but by the end I was all teary eyed about them both. Their relationship was definitely the highlight of the book.  Nicks dark attitude and violent streak was fun, wasn't it?

Pretty much, I think you'll like Nick and Alan. They are guys and they are realistic and I think they might just remind you a little bit of Cassel. I hope that's what you'll like (though, it's been quite some time since I read this one, so I might be way off base...) Oh, and I think you'll like the demon thing. The whole world of demon fighting and such. Vague enough? As far as hating...not sure. Maybe the girls? :)

Yep, Melissa, by the end I loved them both. As for reminding me of Cassel...nope not at all, but that doesn't mean I didn't like them and enjoy the book. The demon fighting reminded me of Supernatural the TV show I LOVE so I did enjoy that and the twist at the end (even though I saw it coming from page one) was fun! I definitely want to know what's going to happen next.  LOL! Yep, Mae drove me nuts!

Well, as I only got two responses/guesses, I'll expound a little more, if you don't mind.

The best thing about this book is Nick and Alan's relationship. By the end I was seriously crying over their love for each other...especially Alan's love for Nick. I LOVED the "special-ness" of Nick. I saw it coming from page one, in fact the whole book was ridiculously predictable, but I have an obsession with MCs being special and unique in a cool way and become crazy invested in them.

There were a few things that bothered me...come on, this is me we're talking about. ;) I was bothered, for some reason, that the book was written in third person. The book stuck with Nicks point of view the whole time, why did it need to be in third person? I was also slightly irritated with how predictable it was but in the end the "twist" was expounded on and I found myself smiling really big and thinking, "COOL!" And, alas, the other thing that truly drove me crazy was all the telling! Soooooo much telling not ANY showing. I'm hoping that things get better in the next books. Yes, I definitely plan on reading them.

Thanks for helping me write a different type of review, everyone! Hope you enjoyed.

A Little Help Please

K, guys I need your help. Melissa, Cait, I believe both of you, and it seems like one more person I can't remember, recommended The Demon's Lexicon to me. I'm reading it now and in desperation for inspiration to post I thought it would be fun if you'd let me know exactly what you thought I'd like, or hate in this book/series and I'll use your comments in my review. That's not pushy of me, right? ;) Don't worry, I'm not hating the book so you won't get yelled at. I just thought it would be fun to do a review a little differently.

For those of you that have read this series you could take a gander too at what you think I'd like and hate about it? And for those of you who haven't read it well, you could guess too if you wanted. Here's what the books about.

Sixteen-year-old Nick and his brother, Alan, are always ready to run. Their father is dead, and their mother is crazy—she screams if Nick gets near her. She’s no help in protecting any of them from the deadly magicians who use demons to work their magic. The magicians want a charm that Nick’s mother stole—and they want it badly enough to kill. Alan is Nick’s partner in demon slaying and the only person he trusts in the world. So things get very scary and very complicated when Nick begins to suspect that everything Alan has told him about their father, their mother, their past, and what they are doing is a complete lie. . From Goodreads

Yeah, OK, I'm desperately bored with my blog lately so I'm looking for something fun to shake things up. I hope you'll help me. Happy reading!

Review: Watership Down

Title Watership Down
By Richard Adams
Genre Modern classic
Pages 474
Recommended by Book club

First sentence The primroses were over.

Synopsis
Fleeing the intrusion of man and led by the prophecies of his brother Fiver, Hazel leads a small group of rabbits to a new warren, facing many dangers and adventures on their way.

What it has going for it
Well, I'm the one who voted our book club read this one so I guess I'll just sound whiny when I tell you I didn't like it. Come on, people, it's a book about bunnies! Still, it was written well and not complete torture to read. The characters were very well developed with unique personalities that managed to make you care about them. Um, yeah that's about it.

What's lacking
Before I read the book, I read the introduction where I learned that the author did not mean for this book to be an allegory or parable and that it was just a story about rabbits. Um, yeah, there was some symbolistic stuff in this one. I'm sure whether the author meant it or not, his beliefs came through in the book. But, if he's going to say it wasn't meant as anything but a story then why the hell should I care about a bunch of dumb bunnies?! And if I'm supposed to feel bad about human effect on nature than maybe rabbits who are a complete nuisance weren't the best animal to use as the MCs. All that aside, my biggest problem with the book was just that I was bored the whole time.

Yea or Nay?
Many people like this one so, sure go ahead and read it, but don't say I didn't warn you.

Whoops

I'm so embarrassed! It was my 1 year blogiversary on Wednesday. I wasn't planning on doing anything huge about it but I thought I'd at least announce it! Ah well. So here it is, two days late, a few words about my last year blogging.

My IRL friend Suey was always trying to get me to blog and though I thought it would be fun I kept putting it off. Why? Well, because I've seen quite a few blogs start up and months or even weeks later die off. So I took starting a blog very seriously. I wanted to be sure I was sure and commit. Make sense? Anywho, after much hemming and hawing I started up a blog and thus began my foray into this crazy world of book blogging.

It's been a fun year and my favorite thing, of course, is all the awesome friends I've made. I wasn't expecting the fun relationships I'd make but I'm glad they're made. It's so awesome having friends all over the world. If you guys are ever in my neck of the woods and need a place to crash, you're welcome to crash on my couch. You'll just have to ignore all the cat hair. ;)

You'd think after a year I'd be all settled in and comfortable with this blogging thing but I'm always learning new things every day and rethinking the way I do stuff. I'm happy you've all stuck with me and I hope you continue to do so.

Here's to another great year!

Character Connection Will Killian

Character Connection

Character Connection is hosted by the lovely Jen from The Introverted Reader. It gives us the chance to gush, ramble, and just plain carry on about a character we love. Head on over and join up, you know you want to.

So, It's been ages since I did a Character Connection but I sort of miss thinking about a character in such depth. It's one thing to like a book as a whole but, let's face it, we usually like books based on the characters. That's why I love this Character Connection meme. It lets us give credit where credit is due.

The Ghost and the Goth (The Ghost and the Goth, #1) Queen of the Dead (The Ghost and the Goth, #2) Body and Soul (The Ghost and the Goth, #3)

Will Killian see's ghosts and it's all he can do to ignore them, but when Alona, the most popular girl in high school, gets hit by a bus, ignoring her and her long sexy legs is going to be a lot harder.

OK, maybe you're thinking I just sounded totally anti-feminist and sexist saying a girl with long sexy legs is hard to ignore but that's how Will thinks and why I love him so much. Sure, Alona is a pain in the ass but she is pretty hot. Come on! That is so how a guy thinks and you know it! I'm always so impressed when a author, a woman author, can capture a male character so well.

But back to Will. He's an only child. His dad committed suicide eight months ago and his mom is very concerned about him. He's in therapy for his "problem" but it's not something medication can help. He sees ghosts and if they find out they NEVER leave him alone. The principal of his school has a personal vendetta against him and all he wants is to stay under the radar and make it through the last few weeks of high school. Will manages to ignore the ghosts with the help of his iPod and his antisocial behavior but when Alona dies her ghost is about to make everything change.

My favorite thing about Will is how realistically male he is. I know, I know that's praise for the author but I wouldn't like him so much if he wasn't believable as teenage guy. He admires Alona's body but isn't stupid enough to let that completely control him. After all, Alona is REALLY annoying. He cares about the few people who are truly close to him and just wants to live a normal existence. Best of all he's sarcastic, and if there's one thing I find irresistible it's sarcasm.

As for how I picture Will looking? Will is described by Alona as goth and I love the model on the book covers, he works for me even though Will actually has blue eyes, but I seriously want to mess up his hair. I just can't take a goth with carefully coiffed hair!

Well, I'll stop my rambling. I hope my gushing about Will personally and not just the books will convince you to read this series. So fun! I can't wait for the third one!

Review: Black Heart

Title Black Heart (Curse Workers 3)
By Holly Black
Genre YA Urban Fantasy
Pages 296
Recommended by Me

First sentence My brother Barron sits next to me, sucking the last dregs of milk tea slush noisily through a wide yellow straw.

Synopsis
Cassel must choose once and for all what side he's going to be on and where his loyalties really lie.

What it has going for it
I don't even know where to begin, and, as I often find myself doing, I'll pretty much be gushing about the series as a whole rather than just this book. First and foremost, I LOVE Cassel. He's such a great character. He's smart and cautious and thoughtful and is struggling to figure out how to do the right thing knowing full well that he's never going to be perfect. He, and the whole mafia/conning thing, is why I love these books so much. (I've always secretly longed to be a mafia loan shark) Now I'm going to be specific about this book. (yay for me) This one had some twists and turns I didn't see coming and had me on the edge of my seat hoping Cassel would make it out OK. Even though, let's face it, I knew he would. He IS the MC, after all. But I was guessing right along with him about whom I could trust and what was going to happen, all the same. This one had me laughing, "awwwing", crying, worrying, and just plain enjoying myself.

What's lacking
Sadly, I have some complaints. First, why the heck did they change the covers?! I'm guessing it had something to do with the model being white but, come on, did they have to make it so I can't have a matching set?! Anywho, I was also left somewhat bothered and somewhat suspicious with all the loose endings. Sure it could end there and be fine, but the series could go on and, quite frankly, I wish it would!
And one thing that sort of broke my heart and, yet, made me love Cassel more was a decision he made at the end, but I won't spoil it for you.

Yea or Nay?
Yes! I know we book bloggers don't always take recommendations seriously but, please, this time, take me seriously.

Uninspired Or Lazy?

I'm not having a hard time reading other people's blogs. I'm not having a hard time commenting on said blogs. I'm not having a hard time reading. I'm not having a hard time coming up with blog post ideas.

So why the heck don't I feel like blogging?!

I'm off to sit in the sun and warm my toes while reading a book. Happy Monday!

Review: The Minority Council

Title The Minority Council (Urban Magic 4)
By Kate Griffin
Genre Adult Urban Fantasy
Pages 414
Recommended by Me

First sentence I had been in Deptford, hunting vandals.

Synopsis
Being only half human, a sorcerer AND the Midnight Mayor takes a serious toll on Matthew Swift. The new drug on the street, fairy dust, is wreaking havoc in London and when Matthew's associates, the Alderman, start working behind his back, what's the Midnight Mayor to do?

What it has going for it
No other series of books has ever done what this series does to me. I'll be so excited for the next book, finally get my hands on it and start reading, and...devour it? Nope. I love these books soooooo much I force myself to put them down so I won't finish. Because if I finish it then I won't be in the pages of these wonderful books anymore. I won't be able to walk the streets of a magical London with the awesome, funny, kinda scary Matthew Swift. I won't be able to see the world through his telling, neon blue eyes, or catch a hilarious and often sweet conversation between him and his apprentice Penny, or desperately wish he could get a shower and some sleep before something else goes wrong. So, you see? I take as long as humanly possible to read these books so I can prolong the pleasure. Alas, it only works for so long before you have to finish the book and see if Matthew will survive another day to keep on fighting. Cause, let's face it, something inevitably will come up and he'll have to fight again.

As much as I absolutely adore these books I'm sadly realizing they're not for everyone but, oh, if I could let you enjoy them as much as I do, let you even glimpse what I do, I would! Kate Griffin, the author, says no book is perfect for anyone but it's just not true. These books are perfect to me.

What's lacking
Really? Did you honestly think I'd have anything bad to say?

Yea or Nay?
Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! And I really hope you can see why I love them so much!

Tagged...Again

What goes around comes around...again, and again, and again! ;) My awesome, sexy sister tagged me and I couldn't resist answering her questions but I won't bother tagging anyone else. However, you're welcome to answer these same questions on your own blog if you need and idea. Cause, let's face it, we all need post ideas sometimes.

1. Pets, Love em or hate em?
Depends on the pet. Obviously I love kitties and I actually like dogs too, but pets are a lot of maintenance and can drive you crazy sometimes.

2. Favorite Household cleaning product.
Swifter Dusters! Oh my gosh if I knew you wouldn't have me committed I'd write an ode to those glorious little dusters! They. Are. Awesome!!!

3. What is your most guilty, guilty pleasure?
Why is it, when I think of guilty pleasure, I think food??? Should we really feel guilty over food? Really?! NO! So, hmmm, let's see. I would have to say those days I just leave the curtains drawn and the pajamas on and the shower dry as a bone and just sit and watch lame TV, or play a video game for ten hours straight, or...well, you get the point.

4. Chocolate, Dark or light.
I actually like white chocolate best but if I had to choose between dark or light I'd say light. No healthy antioxidants for me!

5. The best parenting tip you've ever got.
Well, I'm not a parent but I do tend to coddle my kitty and I've been told not to. That's pretty dang good advice, I'd say.

6. If you were secretly a super hero what would your name be and what super power would you have.
Well, I already have a "same initial" first and last name which is always a must for a super hero's secret identity. Alas, there is no way in hell I'd ever be a super hero. If I had powers, any powers, I'd be a super villain. Mwa ha ha!

7. I just gave you 100 dollars, how do you spend it?
On books, of course!

8. Are you addicted to a TV show? Do tell.
Oh my gosh! I'm addicted to several. The ones I'm "jonesing" for bad lately are, the BBC's Being Human, ABC's Revenge and NBC's Grimm.

9. Who's your movie star crush?
Depends on the day. So many! Today, I'm looking forward to the movie Lockout just because this hottie is in it. Guy Pearce, for those who might not know.

10. Who is the most inspirational person in your life?
Lot's of people! Gosh, I don't know. Um, I could be a good little daughter and say my mom. I could be an awesome sister and say the sister who tagged me. Or I could be all bookish and say Markus Zusak.

Top Ten Tuesday

Today, The Broke and the Bookish asks: What are the Top Ten books you could read in a day?

I'm taking this to mean books that are short enough that's it's even possible to read them in a day and that are good enough you'd WANT to read them in a day. Either way, I decided to choose the Top Ten books that I actually did read in one day.

Speak The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) The Sweet, Terrible, Glorious Year I Truly, Completely Lost It

The Year of Secret Assignments (Ashbury/Brookfield, #2) Something Blue Odd Is on Our Side

White Cat (Curse Workers, #1) Red Glove (Curse Workers #2) Black Heart (Curse Workers, #3)

The Boyfriend List: 15 Guys, 11 Shrink Appointments, 4 Ceramic Frogs and Me, Ruby Oliver (Ruby Oliver, #1)

Alright, in reality I haven't read Black Heart yet but when I DO read it I doubt it will take more than a day. ;)

So what books could you read in a day either because they're that amazing or that short?

March wrapup 2012

Another month has passed us by and spring is here...hopefully. I read quite a lot of books this month, for me anyway. Here they are.

The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat by Oliver Sacks
Way too much medical terminology but the stories were interesting.

Queen of the Dead (ghost and the goth 2) by Stacey Kade
I love this series. Will is so amazing!

Alyzon Whitestarr by Isobelle Carmody
Awesome premise but the writing needed editing in the worst way.

Room by Emma Donoghue
Interesting and exciting but kinda sad.

The Magicians Lev Grossman
Once again we had an great premise but the characters were so annoying!

The Hollow City by Dan Wells
Totally freaking AWESOME! My favorite Dan Wells book so far!

The Brief History Of The Dead by Kevin Brockmeier
Way too much subtle symbolism.

Babe in Boyland by Jody Gherman
Total She's the Man ripoff.

It's Not Summer Without You (summer 2) by Jenny Han
The love triangle done right! Who will she choose? I really can't decide and it's killing me!

Odd Is On Our Side by Dean Koontz and Fred Van Lente
My first graphic novel. Can't go wrong with my boy Odd.

Can you believe I read ten books this month?! I'm shocked myself. My favorites were The Hollow City and Queen of the Dead. My least favorites were Babe in Boyland and The Brief History Of The Dead.

Sunday Salon

Welcome to the new Sunday Salon. A weekly update post about my boring life. ;)

Weather Small Talk: It's been lovely this week. Spring is in the air, of course that means allergies.

Music Discoveries: Apparently this song, How It Starts by The Features, was played on an episode of The Vampire Diaries but I discovered it from...you guessed it, a TV commercial! I'm loving it.

On The Idiot Box: This week I'm crushing on Being Human. Not the bad SyFy version but the BBC version. See, I watched the first season but missed the next two. I've started watching this season because all the characters changed but one and so it's basically a new show. I'm LOVING it! Hal cracks me up and Tom is so hilarious. If you haven't watched this show I'd highly recommend it!

Weekly Reads: I'm savoring The Minority Council the 4th Matthew Swift novel. You know, the series I'm always talking about. Sigh! I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Crazy Kitty: Anyone know what to do about cat dandruff? My cat is suffering from a serious problem. I've tried everything.

This Week: I've been joining in on Bloggiesta and have made a few changes to "better" my blog. What do you think? Today I shall be trying to organize Google Reader.

Movie of the Week: I saw both John Carter (boring, and the girl drove me nuts!) and The Hunger Games.  I enjoyed The Hunger Games. I didn't remember enough about the book to be too picky. ;)

Food Talk: I made a delicious cheddar broccoli chowder. It's soooo good. I'm far too lazy to get up at the moment and post the recipe but if you'd like it let me know in the comments and I'll email it to you.

Soccer Sightings: Remember when I talked about Ronaldo's vanity? Yeah, you didn't believe me did you? Check it.

Plans For The Week: I'm thinking of starting some yard work...maybe.
