Utah Book Month
It's Utah Book Month! What does that mean, you ask? Well, there's quite the blogging community here in Utah and not only that but there's a nice group of authors from here as well. So we're taking this month to highlight these authors by reading strictly Utah author books. There will be author and blogger interviews and mini challenges all month long.
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to participate as I'm still struggling with time management but I will be reading books published by Utah authors.
Yeah, I seriously doubt I'll get ALL of these read but this is the stack I'll be selecting from. Can you believe I haven't read The Maze Runner Books yet? Me neither.
I'll also have a few interviews I'm very excited about. So keep your eye out. Happy reading!
I haven't read The Maze Runner books either. And, it's not on my list to read this month. Sigh. Someday. I have quite the list too and I doubt I'll get them all done either. Life.
ReplyDeleteI hope your time management is getting better at least. :)
It's getting a little better. I just miss all that extra time. Oh well.
DeleteThat is an ambitious pile! :) I have read The Maze Runner books so it'll be interesting to see what you think of them. Whenever you have a chance to read them.
ReplyDeleteI think my goal this month is two books. We'll see how that goes...
LOL! Yeah, I seriously doubt I'll get more than two or three but hey.
DeleteYeah! Good luck with that pile - I've decided not to be ambitious about reading at all for a few months. I've been so bad about finishing stuff it's rather embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I seriously doubt I'll get more than two or three but I'm going to try.
DeleteVery cool! I love it that you're supporting authors from your region. Looking forward to reading your reviews!
ReplyDeleteYou'd be surprised how many are from Utah. It's really cool. I feel so lucky!
DeleteI just bought a book by a Utah author, Helaman's Daughter by Misty Moncur. Have you heard of this book? I'm totally excited to read it! BofM stories for young adults. How cool is that? I've also been meaning to borrow The Maze Runner. Love to see what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteI don't even know of any California authors. I think they all write stuff I'm not interested in reading. Or, maybe I just need to look them up. Great idea to support authors from your own home state.
I haven't heard of that book. I'm sure there's plenty of California authors too.
DeleteThanks for plugging Utah Book Month! I'm very excited. From your list, I've read THE MAZE RUNNER series and HOW TO SAVE A LIFE. So, far, I've loved everything I've ever read by Sara Zarr. I have ONCE WAS LOST on my list for the month. It’s the last book of hers I haven’t read yet, and I’m a little sad there aren’t any more (yet).
ReplyDeleteI love Sara Zarr's books too. I'm glad I have one left to enjoy.
DeleteI haven't read The Maze Runner either! I've been meaning to because it keeps being compared to THG but I just don't have the time either. Good luck with your reading list. I hope you can find some time. I might inadvertently participate in Utah Book Month because my review of Once Was Lost is almost ready to be published!
ReplyDeleteYou can totally join us. It's not just for Utah bloggers. ;) I'm Exited for your review of Once Was Lost. I loved it!
DeleteThis is a cool idea. I haven't read The Maze Runner series either and I might just do that this month to celebrate some Utah authors with you!
ReplyDeleteYou should! You don't have to be a Utah blogger to join us.
DeleteI LOVE HOW TO SAVE A LIFE. That is all...
ReplyDeleteLol! OK. I'm very excited.
DeleteI haven't read The Maze Runner series either but I have heard of them.
ReplyDeleteI hope your time management is better :)
I've been putting them off forever. I hope they don't disappoint.
