November Wrapup 2012

Well, despite my slump I managed a few more books this month...not by much but hey.

The Adventures Of Tilda Pinkerton by Angela Shelton
Best read aloud to children.

Forgive my Fins by Terra Lynn Childs
Finally a mermaid book that takes place underwater...if only there had been more plot.

We'll Always Have Summer (summer #3) By Jenny Han
What an ending! A love triangle done right.

Falling for Hamlet by Michelle Ray
I'll stick to the original thanks.

Favorite of the month was We'll Always Have Summer. I was so emotionally invested in the love triangle. Least favorite...Hmmm, not sure. I didn't HATE any this month. Crazy huh?

  1. It's always a good thing when you don't hate any of the books you read in a month.

  3. I have to start the Summer series. It's on my shelf but for some reason I always pass it up.

  4. I'm glad you liked all the books you read in November. It definitely helps when you're in a slump to read books you like.

  6. That's great that you didn't hate any book this month!

Now I have to check out Forgive My Fins. Most mermaid books really are set on land; I never thought of that before. I'd like to see one set under water for a change.

    1. I know! I hope you like it if you read it. I would have preferred more plot but it was OK.

  7. 4 books during a slump is pretty good! I really need to read those Jenny Han books...I wanted to read the first over the summer but my library's copy was 'lost'.

  9. So happy to be reading your reviews again, Jenny! Whenever I am feeling like I'm not reading enough, I go on the hunt for novellas. I know that is totally cheating, but it makes me feel accomplished when I blow through a short book. :)

  10. Four books isn't so bad, especially since you ended up at least liking them. Hopefully December will be filled with good books for you as well.

  11. Yeah for more than last time! That's kind of how I measure my success - a little more than the last time.

  12. Hey! And I read the first Summer book and am leaning toward Conrad at this point! Dark and brooding after all....

  13. I had a slumpy month, too. But, I ended up with a really nice number. It helps to cheat (counting children's picture books is my form of cheating). ;)
