Top Ten Tuesday

Today  The Broke and the Bookish asks the question: What are the Top Ten books you feel like everyone else has read but you?

Ha ha ha, guys, very funny. I'm so behind in books that are out there right now it's sad. So here's "just" ten. Sorry, no links to the Goodreads Synopsis today, but since you've all probably read  these you won't need to do that. ;) Right?

To be honest, I could put every book on my TBR list on here because I always feel woefully behind in my reading.  So what about you? Do you feel like everyone's read everything but you? Cause I sure do.

  2. I agree that I feel every book on my TBR pile everyone has read but me...I guess that is why they are on my TBR pile.

  3. I've read three of those. So I kinda feel ahead of the game now ;) I completely forgot about A Game of Thrones, that one is popular right now.

  5. I haven't read any of these either, but a lot of them are on my TBR for sure. My bf got me Water for Elephants on Valentine's Day last year and it's STILL sitting there!

  6. I've only read one of those (Actor & the Housewife, which I didn't think was Shannon Hale's best work). But I'm really interested in Blood Red Road and The Night Circus. I've heard lots of good buzz for both.

  7. Bekka, I can relate, I have soooo many books that have been on my shelf for ages...taunting me. :(

Kathy, I've heard you either love Actor and the Housewife or you hate it. I wonder what I'll think. The Night Circus just barely came out but I still feel like everyone's read it but me.

  8. I am so intimidated by Game of Thrones! For now I'm just happy watching the show!

  9. I haven't read any on your list. So, at least we can not have read them together. :) Most of them are on my TBR list, though. I do have to say that I hadn't even heard of The Night Circus until you mentioned it on my post. I'm definitely gonna have to look that one up.

  10. Room is a nice quick read. I just got my copy of the Night Circus today and I'm really excited.

Come check out my list at The Scarlet Letter.

  12. Amber, I don't have HBO :( so I'll have to be satisfied with the books.

Jenni, LOL. And I thought everyone had read it already. ;)

LBC, I bought The Night Circus last week. I certainly hope it's as good as everyone is saying it is.

Becky, Phew! Well, then I don't feel quite as bad. ;)

  14. I haven't read any books on your list except Hex Hall! So I'm as behind as you are Jenny. Don't stress, there's just too many books out there. I am dying to read Game of Thrones though.

  15. Anne, Well, that makes me feel better.

Lan, I know, there are so many books to read it's hard not to stress. I really want to get to Game of Thrones too.

  18. Our lists have a lot in common. Glad to know I'm not alone. :) You should definitely check out The Name of the Wind, it's fantastic. And you don't have to wait for the sequel!

  20. I've only read one on your list: The Actor and the Housewife and honestly, was not impressed. I felt like it was trying too hard.
I noticed Blood Red Road on my library's 7 day check-out shelf, but it'll have to wait.

  21. I would echo a number of these -- Room, Water for Elephants in particular. Room I just know I won't read -- too upsetting to me, and I feel like it's just too late for Water for Elephants, lol.

  22. Megan, Your library has a 7 day check out shelf? That's an awesome idea. I wish mine did that.

TheBookGirl, I don't know what I'll think of Room, and I've heard too many things about Water for Elephants, good and bad, to not try reading it.

  23. The Night Circus, The Name of the Wind, Game of Thrones, and Room are all on my list, too. I listened to Water for Elephants maybe a year ago and it was really good!

  24. Erin, Oh, good. You're the second person to tell me Water for Elephants is good.
