Bloggiesta To Do List

So, today isn't going to be a productive day for me with Bloggiesta but I'll have more time on Saturday and Sunday...hopefully.  My tiny little plans are...

1 Clean up my labels. I actually put labels on all my posts LAST time for the very first time but I have way too many, I need to clean, clean, clean!  Done! Oh my heck, blogger! Find an easier way to delete labels!
2 Go through my Goodreads TBR list and delete books I no longer think I'll be reading. There's over 600 books on it! Done! Now there's 580 something. Not a huge improvement, but still.

3 I want to learn more about this Google Reader's Next button. :)
Done! Now let's see if I actually use it.

4 Write a Review policy. Done. It looks like crap and is ridiculously unprofessional but oh well.

5 Figure out what Widget may or may not be causing my comment issues. Huzzah! I think my background was causing the commenting problem. Let me know if you're still having trouble commenting...on Twitter if the comment isn't working. ;)

6 And check out all the amazing mini challenges and see about maybe learning a thing or two.

Yeah, not very lofty goals, I  know, but I have so little time! :(

Bloggiesta is hosted by There's A Book and It's All About Books. You're welcome to join still.

  1. You can do it! I know you can! And, if you do a mini-challenge, you have to do mine. I know you may not have time, but you just have to, dang it! ;)

Also, what is this Google Reader next button you speak of? I've never heard of it.

Oh, and labels (or tags and categories for Wordpress) are the bane of my existence! I love them and hate them all at the same time!

    1. I feel like crying when I think about labeling but it must be done I suppose. You can go check out http://alexia561.blogspot.com/ about the Google Reader Next button. She talked about it not too long ago.

  2. These are some great little goals, Jenny. I know my Goodreads TBR list gets way out of hand on a regular basis, so I designed a special "possible-tbr" shelf just so I would be able to keep track of some books I'm not absolutely going to read. It helps so much.

Good luck with your blog clean-up!

    1. Yes, I've admired your possible TBR shelf. I think I might have to do something like that.

  4. Love the idea of cleaning up my Goodreads shelves, as they've gotten out of control! And thanks for the shout out about the Next button. I'm seriously in love with it, as it makes commenting so much easier for me! It's this lazy girl's new BFF!

  7. Seeing as I don't even really get Google Reader, I still don't get the Next button ;)

I love love love organizing my Goodreads page. I've spent literally over 24 hours in the last two months or so organizing my Goodreads. This is why I have 89 shelves on there (yes, I just counted them).

    1. Wow! That's a lot of shelves. I think about organizing mine better but laziness usually rears its ugly head and wins.

  10. I need to go through my TBR list on goodreads too! I love that you only got rid of 20 books. But, hey at least you know you want all those books on there now :) Can't believe you're almost done! Nice work :)

    1. Yeah, I didn't make it through all my books but I did clean it up six months ago so I figured it's good enough.

  11. I need to clean my TBR on goodreads someday. I signed up for this today. Now the "only" thing I need to do is complete the to do list.

I have to find out what that Google Reader button is. Your review policy is good. Short and with all the important things.

  12. Wow, you've already managed almost all your goals! I have a long way to go, but I'm determined to fix my blog up even if it takes more than a weekend. Trying to figure out how to do Google analytics- what a nightmare!

    1. I'm stuck doing labels which is no fun but I'm impressed with how much I got done considering I've been so busy doing other things and had very little time to blog.

  19. Great Bloggiesta! I didn't notice a problem with commenting on your blog, but I also don't use IE and as I learned IE is lame and can cause problems. I'm glad you figured out what the problem was.

I agree, blogger needs an easier way to delete labels cause it's a pain!

    1. You'd think the label thing wouldn't be that hard. I'm so confused as to why it's so complicated.
