I'm so glad I finally finished this series. It was one fun ride! This being the last book in the series had me expecting non stop action and while it was pretty crazy, I did think it dragged here and there. Still, it was a nice strong ending to a great series. I thought things turned out just like they should and even though it was a bit predictable I loved it.

I had no intention of reading the continuing spin off series, Bloodlines, but, well, yeah. I'll be reading it.

Um, wow, sorry for the short review but I really have nothing else to say. It was a solid ending. I liked it!

Should you read it?
Obviously.

  1. I'm glad you liked the ending. It always sucks when a series end disappoints you.

  2. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I miss these guys so much, especially Dimitri. I didn't like Bloodlines in the beginning, but it gets better later on.

  4. I just started reading Book 1 of this series. So far, it's pretty good, but I'm literally at the very beginning. I can tell it's not about "Mary Sue is uncannily good and something she shouldn't be and Mr. Perfect chooses her because she is a speshful snowflake." I might actually like this!

  6. Bloodlines, as I'm positive I've said a few dozen times, is my jam! I really loved Adrian in VA, and liked that he's far from perfect. And I adore Sydney- she's strong and smart but not without her prejudices, and I like how she grows as a person through both series. Plus, we get glimpses of Dimitri, Rose and all the rest from VA.
