  1. Believe it or not, I haven't read any of those either! Hex Hall and Daughter of Smoke and Bone have been on my TBR for ages though.

    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't read Daughter of Smoke and Bone yet.

  2. The only one from your list I have read is Pegasus and I would wait until the next book comes out because of the cliffhanger ending! It is still killing me and I read it 2 years ago I think.

  3. Most of the books you picked are sitting on my shelf too! (But they're not in my post today…they only let me pick ten LOL). I loved Grave Mercy.

    1. I know, right?! It was hard just keeping it to ten. Lol.

  4. I loved Grave Mercy and Blood Red Road, I highly recommend them. Haven't read Pegasus yet, but I'd like to since I enjoyed Robin Mckinley's retelling of Beauty and the Beast.

    1. K, I'll keep that in mind. I really want to get to Grave Mercy.

  5. Of the books on your list that I've read, none have blown me away. I liked Blood Red Road and Daughter of Smoke and Bone, but not to the point of rushing out to buy the sequels.

    1. Good to know. Maybe I won't be too worried about rushing to any.

  6. You haven't read THE NAME OF THE STAR yet? DO IT NOW. Seriously, it's good. I had my doubts, but it's a great read. It's not nearly as dark as it sounds. And, now, I really want to know what you think of it. So, get on that, would ya?

    1. All the reviews for the second one are making me anxious. It shouldn't be long now.

  7. Oh. This would be an embarrassingly long list for me. It's fun how I just had to have certain books, then I get them home and they lose their luster.

    1. Yeah, it's a good thing they limited me to ten. It would have been much worse.

  8. I've only read two from your list. I really enjoyed Hex Hall. That might be a good place to start.

  9. Out of the books on your list that I have read (Hounded, Hex Hall, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and Grave Mercy) none of them really WOWED me. I did enjoy Grave Mercy quite a bit though :)

  10. Its embarrassing how many books blogging has sucked me into buying and I never get around to reading them! I really want you to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It wasn't an absolute fav of mine but once again I'm in the minority and I really want to know what you think!

  11. I wish I could recommend one, but I haven't read one of these! I hope that you enjoy them all, and hopefully at least a couple of them soon. ;)

I wrote a Top Ten Tuesday post for this theme two years ago . . . and because some of the books on that list would still make my updated list, I was too embarrassed to publish a "sequel." =P

The books on your list that I think I would have read immediately are Hex Hall and (assuming I had already read the first two novels in the series) Body and Soul. Everything else would have been told to get in line and keep quiet. LOL!

    1. Yeah, the amount of time some of my books have been waiting for me... so embarrassing. Your recommendation tempts me the most.

  13. I think I saw The Name of the Star on about half a dozen lists yesterday, so you're certainly not alone there! I had Hounded on my list but then it got bumped for one that's been on my shelf longer since I got Hounded this year....I think. Anyway, Daughter of Smoke and Bone is one of the best books I've ever read. Since our tastes differ quite a bit, I'll be interested to see what you think when you get around to it! :-)

  14. I think we need a buddy read of D of S and B. And now you want to add Eon and Eona to the list? :)

  15. The Name of the Star is on my list as well! It's been sitting on my shelf for a while now ...

    1. Yeah, it's sad how long a book we were so excited about can sit on our shelves.

  16. Abandon is sitting on my shelf as well. Daughter of Smoke and Bone was really good. I liked The Name of the Star as well. We seriously need more time.
