It's Top Ten Tuesday again! This week's prompt: Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors for me. Head on over and link up if you want to make your own list. What with it being Utah Book Month I should list UTAH authors but I'm having a hard enough time coming up with ten authors so you'll have to be satisfied that only two of the authors on my list are from Utah. Here we go.
UTAH AUTHOR
Sara Zarr. Couldn't find a picture of her holding one of her books.
UTAH AUTHOR
Sheesh! That was hard. There's plenty of authors I love but would I really read ANYTHING they wrote? No, probably not. These ten, though, yep! I'd read anything from them.
Marissa Meyer would definitely be on my list too, as would Stephanie Perkins! Love all of their books. And I've still not read the Inheritance Cycle series which is ridiculous. I've been meaning to for about six years...
ReplyDeleteThey're a bit long and some people didn't like the ending but I think they're worth it.
DeleteThat's such a nice picture of Markus. I like looking at him, especially when he's smiling. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose a picture of him. They're all so great.
DeleteZusak is number one on my list. There are also Maggie Stiefvater, Jandy Nelson, Brenna Yovanoff, Melina Marchetta and Ilona Andrews. Several others too, of course.
ReplyDeleteYou would have had no trouble with today's prompt. I struggled!
DeleteI love Marissa Meyer. I can't believe I forgot to put her in there this week. Great list! and thanks for stopping by my blog earlier :)
ReplyDeleteChristina @ Books & Prejudice
Thanks for returning the favor. Marissa Meyer was a must for me.
DeleteKeplinger is one of my auto-buys as well. I've loved all of her books. I haven't read LoL yet but I'm sure it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it either but I'm going to soon!
DeleteAwesome list! I really enjoyed Isla and the Happily Ever After, it was my favorite of the three! I really enjoyed Book Thief and I Am the Messenger. I'm looking forward to his other books!
ReplyDeleteAwesome post with awesome pictures. :) If I would have branched out from Utah authors I would have had a hard time stopping the list! It would have gone on and on I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteThis really was a hard prompt this week! I had a hard time making my list, too. That being said, your list is awesome. Especially Marissa Meyer. :)
