Three Types Of Posts I Hate Commenting On

This is probably the lamest post I've ever written but I've been thinking about these things and feel the need to torture you with my commentary.

There are a few posts/memes I rarely bother commenting on. What are they and why, you ask? (just pretend you care)

I know, I'm sorry! But when I first started blogging I participated in this meme. My TBR shelf went from like 300 to 600 books in a couple of months. Just seeing book after book highlighted was too tempting to resist and I didn't. So, yeah, on this one I don't just not comment, I can't even read it. So, if you've noticed my absence on those posts now you know why.

Now here's a post I'll read but that I just plain struggle to comment on. Who the heck am I supposed to address? The Interviewer/blogger or the author? And what am I even supposed to say? Maybe it's easy for others but I struggle so hard to come up with something to say.

No, my uninvolvement in this meme has nothing to do with the debacle involving The Story Siren, I just don't get books in the mail. Not from publishers. Not from ordering them(very often) so I just don't see the point in participating. But the reason I don't comment is because I don't know what to say. "Oh, you got such and such a book" "that one looks fun" "have fun reading so and so". See? They're not very fun comments. Maybe it's just me that struggles with commenting on these posts, though.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who reads a post and wants to comment but just can't figure out what to say. What about you? What posts do you struggle to comment on? And if you do struggle what do you do about it? And who the heck are we supposed to be addressing on those interview posts?

I'm so excited for this one! I've been waiting forever! Ever since I picked up a copy of Eragon at my nephews house and got sucked in, I've been anxiously waiting for each one to be released and eagerly reading them at breakneck speeds. While I will admit the third was a little slower than the rest, I still love these rich descriptive books! I love Eragon and Saphira's relationship and can't wait to see if they make it through alive. I want to know what will become of Murtagh and Arya and Nasuada, not to mention Elva. I'm SO excited I'll be setting aside all my other books come October and re-reading the first three so I remember all the tiny nuances and details. Yeah, I'll shut up now. I'm just super thrilled  it's finally coming.

I always get so excited for a book and wait and wait soooo anxiously, and then when it comes out I rush out and buy it, come home, admire the cover and then put it on my bookshelf and take forever to get to it! Some books I just can't wait on, though. I read them as soon as I buy them and this is one I'm going to have to read as soon as it comes out.

  I know, I know, its ages until this one gets released but I can't help it! I'm so excited! It's such a long way away, it doesn't even have a synopsis on Goodreads yet. Sigh!

It seems like I've been waiting for this one forever! It probably won't even hold up to my expectations but I still am excited to check it out. There's a lot of siren\mermaid YA books being published lately and though I have most of them on my TBR list I haven't read any yet so maybe I won't be bored with the subject matter before I get to this one.  I also have to add that even though I think this cover is cool the guy is YUCK!

Two of the books that I've been anxiously awaiting have just recently come out. The Neon Court and Red Glove. Both books are part of series I've been reading and I was so excited for them I've already consumed them, and enjoyed both I might add. 


At first when I saw this idea I couldn't even think of a book I was excited for. Silly me. Of course there's books I can't wait for.

Another blogger (sorry, I can't for the life of me remember who) read and reviewed this awhile ago and I was VERY intrigued. I'm not even sure why; I don't really like fallen angel stories but this one looks really good. It comes out May 17th. Let's hope it lives up to all my expectations.
