Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Squeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Whoohoo!!!!!!
I've waited and waited and it's finally coming out!!!! If you could have seen the happy dance that ensued when I saw this...well, let's just say it freaked my cat out.
My Isabel is a skittish girl. She's slowly growing trust but just a bit ago she was rubbing my leg (this is progress -- she doesn't usually rub legs) and I tried to reach out to pet her head as she walked past. Nothing doing. She immediately backed away. *sigh* I love her like crazy but I wish we could grow the trust a bit faster. I'm pretty sure she was dumped so she has good reason for her issues, but anyway . . . she's a total sweetheart -- no clawing or biting at all. She's worth the time and effort it'll take to get her to stop being so jumpy.
Never heard of it but I may have to check it out because of your excietment. I probably won't read Crossed unless I find it on sale for like 3 bucks somewhere. While I'm curious about how Cassia goes about finding Ky, I'm not sure if I want to slog through that kind of pace again and pay upwards of 10 bucks for it. A slow pace ruins a great book for me, so in a mediocre one it just isn't worth it. Tristan @ Reads With Wreckless Abandon
I am sooooo freaking excited! I love Odd Thomas, now I'm going to go drink some coffee out of my Pico Mundo Grill mug and dream of Odd's perfect pancakes. ;)
Wow... now I really better catch up on this stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky you don't have to wait!
DeleteYay for you! Aw, head rubs to the poor freaked-out kitty.
ReplyDeleteShe's used to my freak outs. You'd think by now she wouldn't be so jumpy still.

DeleteMy kitty used to be normal. :( I think I've turned her into a scaredy cat somehow.
DeleteI don't think I've ever read a Dean Koontz. My husband assures me he's a bit like Stephen King/James Patterson...
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to read any of his books I'd HIGHLY recommend this AWESOME series.
DeleteI would've love to see that dance and especially your cat's freak out. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was pretty amusing, I'm sure. :)

It's so good! I love this series! I wouldn't spend a large amount of money on Crossed if you didn't like the first one.
DeleteYea! LOVE Dean Koontz!!!
