The Best Thing About Birthdays

It was my birthday on Sunday. I was having one of those, lets pretend I'm not getting older by celebrating my birthday years. Sigh. However I did get some amazing books from friends.



See?! Don't I have awesome friends? Thanks Suey, Trina and Christal....oh, and me. Yes, I bought myself a few books too.

    Happy Birthday, Jenny! I hope you had a really great day, and I see you hit the jackpot with your birthday book haul. Nobody ever buys me books because they don't even know what I want, or what I don't already have, lol. So true. Only a book lover can buy for a book lover.

      This is only the second time I've gotten books as a gift and it's so awesome. I hope the tradition continues.

    Oh why didn't you say it was your birthday on Sunday?? Happy belated birthday. None of us are getting older *cough* At least our reading keeps us young. I can't wait to see what you think of Croak and Smoke and Bone as they're books I want to read but am too worried I won't like them! Hope you had a really great day.

    Happy Birthday! Looks like you got some great books -- those are the best kinds of gifts IMHO. I haven't read any of the titles in your stack either, so I'll be interested to see what you think of them 'cause you know how well our tastes jive :)
