April Wrap-Up 2017

April's showers have come and gone! Guys, I read NINE books last month!!!! I'm so proud of myself!! OK, so here's what I read. And uh, I'm still catching up on reviews so I don't have a link to each book yet.

The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer, Away Laughing on a Fast Camel by Louise Rennison, Homecoming by Patricia Briggs, Baby Proof by Emily Giffin, Bone Gap by Laura Ruby, With Malice by Eileen Cook, Gem & Dixie by Sara Zarr, While You Were Sleeping by Kathryn Croft and The Mothers by Brit Bennett

Favorites this month were Bone Gap, a reread for book club, (love this book! Go read it!) and Gem & Dixie. Least Favorite was The Mothers and While you Were Sleeping.f

  2. Nine books, congrats! A good mix there too. I adored Louise Rennison's series when I was younger! I'm actually really intrigued to see what the US copies are like? I know all the titles were changed but I wonder if any of the actual text was since it's full of a lot of random Briticisms!

  3. Nice! I'll definitely have to check out Bone Gap. And thanks to you I am 100% staying away from The Chemist (I was at about 90% before your review).

  4. Congratulations on reading 9 books!! It's such a great feeling when you total up everything at the end of the month and it's more than you expected :) I hope you have a lovely May, Jenny!

  5. That's so awesome! I'm really impressed with this number. The most I've ever read in a month is 7 books and it burned me out, lol.

  6. Even in a really good month I don't know if I could read 9 books! Don't know how you did it! Can't wait to see your review on the Mercy Thompson book and The Chemist. I want to see if Stephanie Meyer was a one off wonder!

  7. I need to re-read BONE GAP. I loved it the first time around, I'm sure I'd love it even more the second.

  8. Awesome stats!! The rain definitely kept me reading too. Love Bone Gap! And part of me wants to read the Chemist, and part of me is skeptical. Hope May brings even better books!
