In My Thoughts This Fine Day #3

It's time for some rambling again!

I've been eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches lately...hmmm, maybe I'm trying to regain my youth.

I need to feel young sometimes. After seeing a movie and sitting for two hours my knees hurt. What the heck?! I'm only 31!

The group stage of the Euro cup is over and only two of my teams made it. What was up with the Netherlands? Seriously. They weren't themselves and it cost them. Oh well, I'm rooting for Spain anyway.

I just spent the last hour trying to figure out why Google Chrome and Safari makes commenting on my blog difficult. It's like the comment box is all out of whack and where you're writing is higher than what you can see...or something. It's driving me crazy and I can't figure out how to fix it. I'd hate to have to go back to the pop up window comments because I can't do replies that way, but I hate that some of you can't comment. :( Oh what to do?!

I'm thinking it's time for a new profile picture for my blog/Goodreads/twitter etc. My old picture has nothing to do with reading and it was back in my heavier days so....yeah. Now if I can just get my sister to help me take a good picture.

Well, I'm off. Thanks for listening to my ramble.

  1. I love PB&J sandwiches! They're my favorite! I've even made them healthier by using whole wheat, no sugar added, bread; no sugar added whole fruit jam, and no sugar added peanut butter. I know it sounds gross, but it really is yummy! The sweetness of the fruit help compensate for the lack of sugar in everything else.

    1. LOL! Yeah, that sounds like my sandwiches. No sugar in anything but still surprisingly good.

  2. I like your ramblings. I often go through Peanut butter and Jam phases as well....HM.... must be a connection there somewhere.
I noticed your commenting box was weird, but I can still comment so that's good. Go Spain!! and yeah a picture change is always good.

    1. I'm glad you enjoy my ramblings. At least someone does. ;) Hmmm, maybe we should see a psychiatrist about the PB&J thing.

  3. I love jelly sandwiches. I've never eaten peanut butter though.

I'm rooting for Spain, too, but I'm Spanish, so that's not a surprise. I'm curious: what's your other team?

I'm using Chrome right now and I don't have any problems. Everything looks normal; nothing different from when I use firefox.

    1. Hmm, I'm finding out that peanut butter is sort of an American thing??? That's weird. It's so good. You should try it. Im glad you're not having trouble commenting. :) I'd be happy if Portugal won too. Anyone but Germany and Schweinsteiger!

  4. I eat PB&J at work a lot, easy to bring! I've been starting to feel the aches in my knees once in awhile lately too. Ugh. I should be changing my pic too, I don't have long hair anymore. But... I don't have any good new shots yet. Except for one or two with my hair up. That might work. Lol.

    1. Hey, if you cut your hair then your picture better be with it down so we can see. ;)

  5. Golly, I can't eat bread or peanut butter. Sigh. I forgot you don't have to read labels.

    1. Ugh, you're depressing me. I'm so sorry your diet is that limited. Is it helping?

  6. PB&J? It's like I forgot that exists. I really need to make some sandwiches like that again. What a great idea! Thanks...;)

    1. Yeah, I deal with it while replying but I think it's doing something else for other people and it makes me sad. :(

  8. Heh, I love PB&J! I take that for lunch sometimes! Quick and good. :)

Good luck with the new profile pic! Though I have to admit, I like the one you have. What's not to love about the beach?

    1. Yeah, I should have taken a picture of me at the beach when I was in California a month ago! What was I thinking?!

  9. I'm going to be difficult and say I've never had a PB & J sandwich before. I've never even had a PB sandwich before!! Pureed peanuts just don't do it for me. And yet I love peanut butter cookies.

You're nuts! (hehe pun) the profile pic is fine. Very mysterious and weight isn't an issue at all.

    2. I've only has PB in a cookie. Not on it's own :) The texture seriously creeps me out...

  11. I've got some homemade jelly from my grandma in the fridge right now. I'm supposed to bring it to my sister, however... it is delicious and I don't want to share. I love how excited you are for the cup and I can't wait to see your new pictures!

  12. I think I'm going to have a PB&J for lunch now. :)

And I always use Chrome to comment. Sometimes it's crazy and sometimes not. Like now.

Can't wait to see your new profile pic (and you, tonight).

  13. I've never been a fan of PB&J. Actually I'm not a fan of the J at all, in any form ;)

I've never tried chrome but I hate safari. I had issues when I got my mac so I switched to firefox and never looked back.

    1. Firefox started giving me problems so I went to Chrome. Besides the comment thing its been good.

  14. I came back to see if I can comment and sure enough, no problem. I wonder if sometimes I just need to reboot my computer before commenting on your blog. I did shut down after I tried, last night. Suey's right - it's a come and go thing. I don't mind coming back; I love your blog.

Anyway . . . PB & J. Yum. I almost never eat peanut butter at all, anymore, but I love it. Huz is trying to make the onion dip that someone brought to F2F book club, last night. Oh, man. I have not been around people chopping onions for a while. That is painful! But, if it tastes as good as the stuff we had, last night, it's worth a few tears.

  16. Mmmm BP&J... Hold on now I'm hungry. OK< now I'm back:) PB&J is always a staple at our house. All of us go through different jelly or jam favorites, I think I have like 6 or seven different flavors in my fridge right now.
I am 31 and my knees do the same thing after I have sat for a long period of time, they need to quit because we are not old!
I use chrome but I have never had any problem with commenting here, but I have on other blogs so I'm not sure about that one.
It's going to be fun seeing your new picture!
