March Wrap Up 2017

Yay! March is over. Sorry, March and July are my least favorite months of the year.  I only read five books but now-a-days that's not bad.

Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, A Madness so Discreet by Mindy McGinnis, Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins, Version Control by Dexter Palmer and The One and Only by Emily Giffin

I didn't have any favorites this month; nothing got more than three stars. Hmmm, that's not so good. I don't think I really had a least favorite either.

Ugh! See why I hate March? Everything, including my reading, is so bland! Good riddance it's over! Hopefully I read some 4 and 5 star books in April!

  1. I'm glad March is over, too! (Even though I did luck into a few really good reads.) But here's to even happier reading in April! :)

  3. But, St. Patrick's Day is in March! :)

I liked Code Name Verity and A Madness So Discreet- but neither of those books are barn burners- they're a bit slow to read. We also read Code Name Verity for book club, and usually I end up liking a book better after discussing it (unless it was universally hated like Gabriel's Inferno).

I hope April brings you better books and better times!

  4. But March is when spring came! The weather got warmer, and it brought RAIN!! Sorry your reading month was blah. I hope you have a better April.

  5. I hate when I don't have any 4- or 5-star reads in a month. :( At least you got five books in. That's something, right?

  6. Dang, I also had a pretty bland month! I don't know what it is about March but I always end up feelings very meh. Hopefully your April turns out to be a bit more interesting, Jenny :)

  7. I hate those months where everything is 3 stars or less. At least you didn't read anything too bad though. Hopefully April will be better - I'm hoping for something 5 stars, I haven't considered anything 5 stars this year yet!

  8. I only read 3 books this month, so I'm agreeing with you about March right now! I'm hoping April is better in so many ways.

  10. I hear you about March! I'm not a fan. It always feels like the longest month of the year. Good for you, though, for getting through five books!
