January Wrap Up 2017

Big fat snowy January has come to an end. Seriously! Enough with the snow already! Still, all that snow falling made for good reading weather. I read 7 whole books! I'm so proud! It's been ages since I read 7 book in one month!

The Girl from the Sea by Shalini Boland, The Pact by Jodi Picoult, Ketchup Clouds by Anabel Pitcher, The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, My Name is Lucy Barton by Elizabeth Strout and Grief is the Thing with Feathers by Max Porter.

Favorites of the month were Ketchup Clouds, My Name is Lucy Barton and The Nest. Least favorite was The Girl from the Sea.

  2. Seven books? Nice!

I actually miss the snow. Not so much driving in it or shoveling it, but definitely watching it fall. Usually we get a little tiny bit of snow every winter -- this year I guess all the other states have been using it all up!

  5. I'm so glad you had a successful month! I have to agree with you: whenever it's snowing, I feel like curling up with a blanket and some hot chocolate to read :)

  7. Can I just say I'm tired of snow? And cold? And haze? Thankfully February is finally here and maybe the weather will improve. (And I'm hoping to check out Ketchup Clouds from the library this week! :D) Happy February! :)

  8. Well done on 7 books! It hasn't snowed too much here, thankfully, but it has been very cold (and I think I read somewhere it's going to get even colder this month, so not looking forward to that). Longing for winter to be over at this point!

  9. I'm maybe a wee bit jealous of your snow. It's been weirdly gorgeous here the last few days- but it's winter so nice weather makes me nervous... I've probably read too many dystopians set in a world devastated by Mother Nature. And I totally finally got Ketchup Clouds because of your review!

  10. Yay! You read 7 books in January! I didn't realize you were reading book from the Tournament of Books and then I saw that you and Jessica were reading the same books on Goodreads. I'm glad you had a good reading month!
