Review: Heist Society
By Ally Carter
Katarina Bishop grew up in a family of thieves, it's all she's ever known. When she tries to get out of the life and start a "normal" life a surprise visit from an old friend pulls her back in. Now to save her father she'll have to pull the heist of a lifetime.
Well, I wanted to like it and all in all it turned out OK, but it just started so slow and throughout the whole book you want to get to know the characters but you never really get to. It's all about the Heist and that was fine, especially at the end, it got exciting watching it all work out, but I need a little more character connection, you know? It just took to long to get into and we never got to know the characters.
Well, normally I talk about the characters and what I thought about them here but as I said I didn't really get to know any of them.
Would I recommend it?
For a good heist story, sure, but if you're a character driven reader, look elsewhere.
