Soccer Woes

It's soccer season again but you wouldn't know it. I don't know how I missed all the news but apparently a new TV channel has bought up all the rights to my precious La Liga. A TV channel that my cable provider doesn't carry. You think I was mad? You should see the outrage of millions of fans. It was crazy! So crazy that Comcast gave in and came to a deal with said sport channel. Unfortunately it's not on my line up yet. Soon, though....or else! Anywho, it's a shame because without me, their good luck charm, watching they're losing! Argh! Hurry, Comcast. They need me!

  1. That sucks! That's like the whole issue with Dish and AMC and the channels associate with AMC. So, annoying! I hate when cable companies decided to kill channels or make them premiums like they did with Sy Fy (hate the spelling) a decade or so ago.

    1. Every TV provider has its problems I guess. I just hope MY provider hurries up and fixes their problem.

  2. Many hugs! I know how much you love them, and how much they need you to watch.

  3. Oh my gosh, that really sucks! I used to be obsessed with different sports and different times in the past and I would have flipped if something like this had happened. Too bad this sport isn't more popular in the U.S.

    1. I was actually surprised at how much US attention it did get. Let's hope it helps.

  4. I hate when networks do that!! They do it with the rugby here in Australia. Then they show it at 1am in the mornings. It's terrible. Luckily your collective outrage worked!

  8. This has nothing to do with soccer, but I swear I saw you comment about this but I am too lazy to find where (sorry), anyway I finally have a chance to start watching this season of Grimm and the new intro totally sucks and I wish it was the old one. Why do TV shows do that? Grrrrr.

Comcast is lame. Missing games sucks so hopefully they will it ASAP!

    1. Yep, I Tweeted about it. I hate the new beginning so bad! I miss the cool music to the old simple beginning. I want it back! Comcast better hurry. ;)

  9. My oldest told me she wanted to learn how to play soccer. It made me think of you, as I have zero soccer knowledge. I do however always enjoy your post about the sport...But that could have something to do with the pictures you post...

  11. The first two matches were a bit of a disaster, but Real Madrid has won their first cup this season, even though the referee decided not to count one of Madrid's goals: Supercopa against Barcelona.

Hope you can see football matches soon.

    1. I saw that they won their first cup! I missed the game because of work not networks this time. Still annoying.
