Top Ten Tuesday

Today, The Broke and the Bookish asks: What are the Top Ten books you are GOING to read in 2013?

I emphasis "going" because I AM GOING to read these books this year, dang it!

This was actually hard to choose! Thank goodness I can read more than 10 books a year! ;) Happy Reading! May you get to those books you really want in 2013!

  1. I want to read Edenbrooke and The Night Circus this year too. I hope I can get to them with all the other books I want/need to read. Good luck!

    1. Hmmm, I really struggle with audio but maybe after I read it I'll check out the audio and just listen to parts.

  6. The Night Circus is narrated by Jim Dale who was awesome so I concur with Steph, however, I had a hard time listening to it because there is just so much going on and there is a past/present thing and I didn't love it like the people who read it did so personally I'd recommend reading it, but that's just my opinion.

I really liked UTNS but I loved The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Seriously. I think you should read that one first ;)

  7. I definitely recommend reading The Night Circus first, it isn't a linear story and I reckon it might be hard to follow audibly. But it is totally awesome and you are bound to love it. Mara Dyer, oh YES son. It's the best book I read in 2012 as you know, it's just so...yeah it's amazing. I really want to read Name of the Wind so will await your thoughts on that, and Shadow and Bone is on my must read list too

  9. I haven't read any of these, but a few of them are on my TBR. I really want to get to Under the Never Sky, but I'm kind of waiting for the whole series to be out.

Good luck on your goals :)

  10. +JMJ+

The last time I did one of these, I read one book on the list and then ended up going in a completely different direction! So I decided to go with the flow instead of trying to forecast an entire year--even if it's just a modest prediction of ten books to get to. But I do admire people who set a specific goal and then achieve it. I hope that you get to read all of these by the end of the year, Jenny! =)

    1. Well, let's hope we get to the books we want. Suey's husband might die if we don't read The Name of the Wind this year... soon.
