Sunday's In Bed With...IT

My friends Kate and Kim have this fun post they do every Sunday sharing what they're reading in bed.  I thought I'd join in today since I spent the morning cleaning my house one handed due to tendinitis. I deserve take it easy now and read.

I'm reading IT. I plan on seeing the new movie adaptation this September so I thought I'd read the book. Don't worry, I'm not scared of clowns so I'll be safe.

What are you reading this Sunday?

  1. The new IT movie looks a lot more scarier than the original. I can't wait to see it.

  6. I don't know if I can read this one or watch this one. I'm not afraid of clowns, but the previews look so freaky. Maybe, I will see it. I just don't know, lol.

    1. I'll let you know but I tend to find horror funny not scary so I'm not the best judge.

    2. Kay, sounds good. I might be able to deal with it. I just can't do certain things in horror: mirrors, possessed dolls, boogie man, Japan, possessed animals, or anything named after one of my ancestors. Lol. So, It might be okay. I've just always been afraid of it because of the original movie.

    3. So I guess you're not seeing Annabell. Ha ha! We're seeing it for our date night.

  7. I'm also reading this! I saw the preview for the movie and I wanted to have read the book before I saw it, same as you, and it's actually pretty creepy. I hope you like it!

  8. I read TONS of Stephen King in high school. It's tougher for me to stomach his stuff these days. IT didn't creep me out as much as some of his other books, but pretty much everything he writes is scary in one way or another!

    1. I think his stories are more disturbing than scary but he's a good writer who immerses me in his stories.
