Uninspired Or Lazy?

I'm not having a hard time reading other people's blogs. I'm not having a hard time commenting on said blogs. I'm not having a hard time reading. I'm not having a hard time coming up with blog post ideas.

So why the heck don't I feel like blogging?!

I'm off to sit in the sun and warm my toes while reading a book. Happy Monday!

  1. I wish I wasn't having a hard time coming up with blog posts. How about you give me your ideas and I'll blog about them? Sounds like a plan! ;)

  2. I go through this a lot. I'll have a bunch of things scheduled for awhile, then I forget to come up with new ideas, and in the midst of my rush to write out something new, I just can't get my point across right and I scrap it. And then I'll take a break from my blog for half a month or a month until I start thinking of stuff again. *sigh* A lot of bloggers have been trying to write non-bookish blog posts lately, and I think it's a great idea. You do your soccer posts, and that's pretty fun. Maybe you can come up with more stuff like that. You don't even have to make it a long post either. I'll always read whatever you write about!

    Enjoy your day! :)

  3. This usually happens to me when I'm not getting many comments, but I see your comments are still pretty good, so... I have no answers for you! Hopefully it will end soon and you can feel the desire again. Enjoy the sun and the reading in the meantime.

    1. Actually, my comments have been a little on the light side, or so it feels. It does make it feel like nobody cares so why bother posting.

  4. Sometimes I suffer from a little blog burnout too. Usually, it's just best for me to allow myself a guilt-free break. :)

  6. Maybe you just need to step away from blogging for a while. Maybe it's not fun for you right now. That's okay. You'll think of the perfect thing to blog about, and then WHAM! You're back in action.

Hang in there and Happy Monday to you, too!

  7. I'm feeling your lack of...whatever it is. I've been suffering from a lack of blogging motivation since the beginning of the year. I keep telling myself it will pass. I hope so.

  8. Every now and then, I sit down and can't write a thing. It's good to take off and sit in the sun if that's what you feel like doing. Go for it!

  9. At times like this I turn to the good ol' TV to entertain me. I used to force myself to keep blogging even when I couldn't be bothered and it doesn't help. Go enjoy the sunshine. You deserve a break.

  10. I was in this place like all last month, and maybe the month before. I think it showed on the blog, but I needed to take a step back and not do as much with it. I came back this month wanting to get back at it. Don't know if that helps:)

  11. I get this sometimes and to be honest I just had a break for a few days as I really didn't feel like blogging. And now I do feel refreshed and ready to step back into it again... until next time ;)

I hope your blogging slump ends soon *hugs*

  13. Aww! Sometimes you just need a break and to get away from it for a while! I took the past week off... although unintentionally because I left my laptop at my student house when I went home for the Easter break...oops! hopefully you'll get back into the blogging mood soon!

  14. I hear you! My poor blog is suffering because of my lack of enthusiasm. I've even taken a break and it didn't help much. When you find the cure, let me know. ;)

    1. Will do. I was afraid a break wouldn't help. :(

  15. This happens with me several times throughout the year but is usually tied in with the busyness of everyday life. Mostly though, I just do not want to take the time to put posts together even though I have drafts already waiting.
Your spunk for blogging will come back; I am confident. :)
