The Sunday Salon

And now a bunch of useless information you never wanted to know about me. ;-)

Outside my window: Looks like another hot one!

I am listening to: I downloaded Green Back Boogie by Ima Robot and I Do by Cobie Caillat and have been enjoying them. But, wow, can you say different?!

I am watching:  I saw Crazy Stupid Love this week and laughed through a lot of it but it was a little slow in my opinion.

I am thinking: Once again, about either bigger bookshelves or no more buying books.

I am grateful for: Movie theater popcorn in all it's greasy goodness.

I am reading: I've just started Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready and I don't have an opinion yet. Give me a break, I'm only a chapter into it!

I am photographing: Um, nothing this week, I don't think.
I am listing: Gee, not much this week either.

I am creating: Positive/ you can do this thoughts??? Well, trying to.

Around the house: I've been spraying outside for little bugs and it seems to have helped with the spiders and ants but those dang earwigs just wont die!!!

From the kitchen: My diet it so pathetic that you'll probably roll your eyes but I'm going to have a nearly carb free root beer float to night and I'm very excited.

One of my favorite things: Bad made for TV movies. There's something oddly comforting about them.

The children this week: No kids, just my cat Buns and she's doing great. She goes outside all by herself now but she did jump into my closed window the other night. She's fine but I had a good laugh.

Plans for the week: I have a second interview for a job and I'm hoping to get it so I hope all goes well. Plus it's my oldest sisters B-day and we're going to have a girls day.

Thanks to Ibeeeg of Polishing Mud Balls for the inspiration for this post's layout.

  7. We have the worst earwigs at my house, too. And it's driving me grossly nuts. Ugh!

  8. Techno Grandman, The second song? Well, you probably wouldn't like it anyway. ;)

Natalie, Yes, the life of an obsessive book buyer is hard, isn't it?

Kathy, They're awful this year aren't they? Ick! They're driving me nuts and nothing kills them!

  9. Squish, is the only product I've found that works on Earwigs. You can get it at Shoe Carnival or Famous Footwear, I recommend buying two or three pair..Err bottles.

Yay for Girly Day, but,"oldest sister" and, "birthday" shouldn't be used in the same sentence :(

  10. Susan, I saw you purchased a bottle of Squish on Saturday. So, it's green with a white daisy, right? And since I'm perpetually young so are you. ;)
